With 39 years of clinical work in pediatric hematologic malignancies, she spearheaded the establishment of the lymphoma specialty at Beijing Children's Hospital in 2003 . She was among the first in China to apply international standardized stratified chemotherapy protocols, significantly improving the overall cure rate of pediatric lymphoma to 80-90%. She published over 90 papers in domestic and international journals, including Blood and Blood Advances. Between 1999 and 2004, she visited the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the USA and the Pediatric Oncology Center at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as a visiting scholar multiple times.
